Have had this hanging from my keys, now, for a little over two months. I’ve run through 10 whole generations and participated in a few arena events, and I can sternly say this is one of the best Tamagotchi devices you can get. More lightweight, and smaller, but the screen is bigger than the last couple devices, the “On” and the “Pix,” that made it to the States officially. Did not spend much time with the watchstrap because, well, I’m an adult. A giant purple rubber watch that doesn’t tell time and is actually a little game with a little baby sticks out a bit too much for me.

Maybe could do with one more group of adults (some classic Tamas are sorely missed here), and they’re about to add some more things to the online “Tama-verse” that might add just the right amount of things to do to make each visit feel worthwhile. It’s not perfect, but it has so much to do. Have spent a decent chunk of time going on a walk with it, crafting a bunch of accessories and dressing up my Tama in different outfits to see what’s cutest. The games are fun, and change with each season, so I’ll probably get back to this once springtime rolls around officially, but, for now, I did feel myself starting to get a little bored with the cycle, so I’m putting it down for now to see if I miss it.

this is a temporary review since i'm still playing with my tama. it's a pretty cool tamagotchi! i'm gonna write what i think are the pros and the cons of this device

PROS
- it's a low maitenance device. imo you can have it running even if you have a busy life. also the sitter is free so u can leave your tama w her till 6pm (and if you need her to stay longer, just change ur clock time and you should be fine)
- ur tama has a BUNCH of accessories to wear. hats, glasses, bags and even a "back" accessory. and they, obviously, look so cute wearing them
- u can also customize ur tama's house. it has a bunch of wallpapers and furniture to match them
- the arena place in tama verse is where this device shines the most imo. the games are SO much fun and it adds competitiveness to the game. too bad the events only last 7 days! i feel like it could be a longer period of time
- it has a function where u can put ur tama to go on walks with you and it will bring materials that u can craft wearable items for ur tama! it's pretty cool
- you can collect "care icons", which are like achievements for ur tama. which, honestly, it's a pretty simple aspect, but it also adds longevity to ur gameplay if u are the type of person who likes to collect badges and etc
- the device itself is customizable. it's pretty simple (i wish it were more simple tbh) to change ur faceplate

CONS
- it only has 3 arcade games and they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo damn boring. tbh i only play the Fast Food one bc it's the one that is the fastest to get money from
- arcade games are the only way u can get ur tama money (outside the tama events). so, yeah, ur gonna have to put up with these stupid games if u want some currency
- tama verse gets old very quickly. it currently only has 3 places u can go (not counting the events): tama fashion (where u can buy accessories from other tamas and display ur own), tama travel (where u can go to different locations in the world), and the tama party (where u can marry ur tama).
- when u marry ur tama, the relationship between him and his partner doesn't have any kind of progression. if you put him on a date, just know he's gonna leave RIGHT away, leaving you with an egg for the next generation
- most of the care icons are so damn boring to get and some achievements don't seem balanced at all

i think that's it. as a device with wifi connection, we can hope for improvements in the near future. and if they don't come from the developers, i hope the community hacks the heck out of this thing!

for now, it's a sweet little device and i really like it :)
