Game Review - originally written by Kitsune Sniper

This game has some VERY pretty graphics. Some of those cutscenes are incredible looking for the system, so you can see that the game had a lot of work done on it. And it was made by people who would go on to form Wolf Team (you know, the Tales of Phantasia guys), so you know it's got to be good.

A SFC JRPG with a English Fan translation if you want to give it a shot!

For the most part, it's a by-the-numbers JRPG for the SFC. One thing that helps it stand apart, though, is the game's use of art in cutscenes to help paint a better idea of what is happening instead of just relying on sprites for the whole adventure.

Another thing it has is its negotiation system. As you explore the world, you'll encounter all sorts of monsters. In this game, you have the ability to learn each monster's language and converse with them before a battle in an attempt to make them go easy on you. If you succeed, you can build friendship with that monster type, leading to them randomly assisting you in battles. They can also give you money and train with you to boost your party's EXP. It's honestly fun to mess with, especially as you start exploring the later areas of the game and suddenly you're buddy-buddy with some of the toughest enemies in the game!

Definitely give this one a try!
