This game is like an interactive book, with good narration and beautiful art. The 39 Steps is a game based on the classic suspense/thriller book written by the Scottish John Buchan. There is also a movie adaptation, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, with a few changes.

I really REALLY recommend this game, especially for those who like to read books about spies and can understand English.

Nice graphics and might be an intriguing story, but the controls, transitions, and awkward dialogue have put me off.

An incredibly unique but not necessarily essential adaptation of one of my favorite books. It has the interactivity of a VN, but is extremely interesting visually and tries a new storytelling technique to varied success. Overall a pretty nifty experience but not for everyone.
