Barely a puzzle. 95% narrative, 5% “puzzle” if you class clicking on obvious items as puzzling.

It seems to be more focused on the story with very light puzzle and point and click elements. It was okay, nothing groundbreaking. I didn’t expect the ending though. I completed it in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

I initially found The Get Out Kids to be a charming experience, evoking a more conservative Stephen King, but by the end of the hour and a half or so adventure I was disappointed. The characters are likeable and the game is pleasant to look at, but the story itself ends abruptly and unsatisfactorily. The interactivity is also fairly limited, which can be fine but needs to be backed with stronger writing.
