"Wow, Platinum Games is making an Avatar game! Neat!"

Well... it has some neat ideas for bending combat. It's clearly a rushed license game at heart, though.

Super short and super simplistic. While this is far from one of platinum's greats, it's enough fun to waste some hours away with, it is a filler story with nothing original in regards of combat, but it does look cool and is pretty satisfying.

I recommend this only if you're either a big platinum fanboy wanting to play their most obscure games (my case) or if you really like the source material and want a cool avatar game with good enough combat to live out your bender fantasies.

This game is just such an oddity. Made by Platinum Games, who are known for higher quality releases, yet this game is exceptionally content sparse, the combat, while flashy, has no tactical depth, despite the source material being rich with examples of how the 4 elements can be used differently. The story is pretty non-existent, basically just being filler that takes you to the major locations from the show.

Overall, a pretty big waste of time to play, with little to show for it apart from a decent look to emulate the show, and some flashy combos to spam out mindlessly for a bit. A game that could have been something better given the developers and source material, but instead feels like a cheap cash-in.

This was honestly a fun time. A played the OG Avatar Trilogy of games as a kid, but they never made me feel like THE Avatar. Thankfully Korra has all I wanted in an Avatar Game, the ability to use any bending you want, the different types of bending are unique with Earth being more about hitting hard, while air is about agility and AOE attacks, the levels don’t do much in terms of platforming or any other gimmick, which is my preferred Hack n Slash level unlike the Stealth sections of Metal Gear Rising or puzzles in the Devil May Cry. The difficulty Balancing is out of whack with the game being pretty simple at first but then becoming one of the hardest hack and slashes I have ever played and for the record I was playing on Normal. The final boss was hard as balls because of the difficulty balancing, and the enemy variety is really lacking with them not really offering much, there is a lot of problems I can mention with The Legend of Korra, but if People can love Metal Gear Rising for the music and bosses, I can enjoy The Legend of Korra for doing what I wanted for an Avatar Game. This one will definitely get a video one day.

If you're a fan of the same Nickelodeon series, you can try this. Otherwise not waste your time
