Frankly, I was just done with this one. it takes a long time to get a feel for it using the valve index, and it was a bit clunky even after that, and some community bindings and tweaks that went into it. There's a lot of good here, just overshadowed by the frustrating parts. The fights aren't amazing, some of them are alright but mostly repetitive and felt like filler a bit at times, with no real motivation other than to progress. The plot isn't enough to carry the game, and the characters are all just kind of assholes, though most of them are decently written at a surface level. Some of the jokes are decent but none were a gut-buster. Most of the levels look nice for what they are, but largely uninteresting until you get to the last bit of the game. And then you have a large maze of interesting environments and stuff I really just didn't want to continue doing, as usually the puzzles didn't feel extremely rewarding. It does have some neat toys, like its spellcrafting mechanic, but it would be nice if the difficulty was better balanced and the components of the spells were in some of the easier secret content, which there's quite a bit of.

It's not -bad- overall, just lacking and I've had my fill at this point.
