Long-long time ago the world was created out of an egg-shell by a god named Yen. In the murky depths of the endless ocean the Lower World was born. The Middle World was made for the men to dwell, and the Upper World was were the ancient gods would reside. Multitude of spirits dwells among the layers of creation, guarding their secrets in the dark. Embark on a journey through all the worlds of ancient myth, find artefacts of Chud' tribes and solve all the mysteries of finno-ugric tales. You are the Mooseman and you have the ability to see all that is hidden to the mortal eye. You are about to visit three layers of this universe - the first one is the Lower World where ancient spirits dwell.

Beautiful art design and music but the gameplay is a total bore. Found several of the puzzles more obnoxious and irritating rather than intriguingly cryptic.

ostensibly a puzzle platformer but mostly a walk forward to proceed platformer with some very very minor puzzles sprinkled throughout

based on i believe ancient northern scandinavian mythology, it's pretty neat, has good art and great music beats at just the right moments, and also throat singing which is always fun to hear cause it's so unique

the most game-y part of it is collecting the artifacts, a few of which have you input specific button combinations that are oddly very finnicky compared to everything else the game asks of you

anyway it was nice

The Mooseman blends folklore with an adventure game at its best. I adored the art style and the animation was pretty. If you are a fan of adventure games, walking sims and/or myths etc… give the Mooseman a chance.
