Although the game is called The Simpsons Arcade, this game is not a port of the well-known coin-op game of the same name. Instead, it is an homage to it, retaining the same beat-em-up gameplay, but featuring new characters from later seasons of The Simpsons, such as Chief Wiggum, Bumblebee Man and Mayor Quimby. Players attack enemies with punches and kicks, and can find power-ups in the form of other Simpsons family members, who appear on-screen briefly to give assistance in beating up foes.

Lo más destacable de este juego es su soundtrack, lo componen unos pocos temas, pero todos son muy buenos, el de Krustyland mí favorito. Además de eso, como utiliza alguno de los personajes más reconocibles de la serie, usándolo como bosses, estan más que bien ejecutados, cada uno ataca acordé a su personaje. La historia no es más que una excusa para poner a pelear a Homero contra todos. No hay que quitarle méritos por ser un juego móvil, es uno de los más divertidos que jugué.

It still got me through multiple long cars trips as a kid, but the original arcade game is definitely better.
