The first game I played in the series and I still look at it fondly. It's quite dated and has some blemishes that get fixed in future entries. I can't exactly recommend it, but if you're curious to try the first 3D Sims game, then go nuts.

This was the first game that I bought for the PS2 and I can say that I was very disappointed when I got home. I've never liked The Sims for the Playstation and since there was no internet, at my place, I couldn't really check videos before buying games likes kids do now.

The haunting memory of this game still reminds alive till this day :D

I'm a Sims 2 fan. Over the last 16 years I have spent more hours at my PC playing The Sims 2 than I care to admit. I had never played any of the console versions and had only played the PC version of the original Sims briefly so I thought i'd give this a go.

It's not bad. And I think if I hadn't started out with the PC version of The Sims 2 which offers much more freedom to express your creativity, I would have enjoyed The Sims for PS2 more. Instead, I just got bored a few hours in. Oh well, moving on.

the console version of the sims 1 is so strange, like it's made by an alien company. you have to beat the Story Mode to unlock building parts unless you cheat

Fun game, quite addictive. There are fewer options than the PC version, but still very playable. You may like creating your own characters and imagining their stories, maybe building and decorating houses, maybe just goof around, your choice. The soundtrack is Amazing in this game. Nice game to play casually.
