It’s a shame it’s so short, because the writing definitely shows some potential. Also I still can’t decide whether the art style is fitting the Lovecraft inspired environments and story or if it’s just plain ugly.

It's a 20 minute game at most, point and click, retelling a Lovecraft story.
The art style is "ugly" although I feel it is a choice to make the atmosphere more unsettling.

A good free lovecraftian adventure stub whose only problem is being incredibly short (10 minutes or so). It's good stuff, but it leaves you wanting more, which in itself says a lot about its quality.

2024 update: the developer went on to make The Excavation of Hob's Barrow, which is an excellent folk horror adventure game and highly recommended.
