Tom has mouse-napped Jerry's nephew Tuffy and locked him in a trunk in the attic. You and your furry little buddy Jerry must dash, jump, and climb from the basement up through every level of the house to rescue him in time. Jerry's main defense is his unlimited supply of marbles. Pick up other items such as bubble gum, meat cleaver, cups of water, moth balls, hammer, invisible ink and drill to overcome the enemies and obstacles in your way. Make sure you outwit Tom whenever he appears.

Tom & Jerry for Game Boy is a basic chase game where you play as Jerry, rescuing your lost nephew Tuffy while avoiding Tom the cat. The gameplay is repetitive, with simple level layouts and limited enemy variety. While the graphics are passable for the Game Boy, the controls feel stiff and some obstacles are frustratingly unpredictable. Die-hard Tom & Jerry fans might find some charm in its simplicity, but most players will quickly find it tedious and unrewarding.

Aside from one or two games, the beloved cartoon cat and mouse duo hasn't really fared all that well when it comes to video games and alas this Game Boy/Game Boy Color title doesn't fare much better.

It's an incredibly dull and generic platformer that barely does much with the licence at all. Heck, bloody Tom is barely in the game much either so it may as well have just been called Jerry.

Yeah, that's more appropriate.
