PS5 version

Honestly as good as the base game in pick-up-absolutely-everything and explore-each-possible-nook-and-cranny gameplay. Granted there are only four levels here, but they're rock-solid levels that feel like an old school expansion in a complimentary respect. Nothing mind-blowing, but still a worthwhile time. And once again I have to give MASSIVE props to this awesome trophy list - as an achievement hunter (yeah yeah, I know) one of my biggest gripes with modern game DLCs are their paltry achievement lists no matter how massive the actual games are. 32 motherfuckin' trophies with loads of variety between them all for four levels here - but Dead Island 2 can't even scrounge up more than FIVE apiece for Haus and SoLA??

This was pretty poor. I enjoyed the base game a lot, but this was just a frustrating collection of all of the least enjoyable parts of the Tomb Raider I.

I did find some of the challenges satisfying to pull off, but there was too much annoying combat in a system that does not lead to fun gunplay whatsoever.

Mostly, the puzzles were too long winded, and the levels just didn't seem to end. Not to mention the atmosphere of the levels was very tired by this point after playing through the main game itself.

The Egyptian levels were certainly better than the Atlantis levels, but not by much.

I wouldn't recommend this unless you're a die hard fan of the main game and want to test yourself with those mechanics, or are a completionist. I probably wouldn't have kept playing past the first level if I wasn't the sort of person that has to finish every game they start - but I'm sure some people would find something fun in this.

It was hard and a bit annoying sometimes, but the Egypt levels were mostly amazing.

Not great. The Atlantis levels are an annoying, obtuse, overly-difficult mess that has you frequently surrounded by waves of enemies -- a mistake, given that the combat is by far the worst thing about the first Tomb Raider. The two Egypt levels are miles better, but needlessly long (Temple of the Cat especially) and not more interesting than anything in the base game. I didn't hate my time playing through these levels, but they should be skipped unless you are a die-hard completionist.

This is one of the worst things I've ever played. It's a miserable experience and honestly has some of the worst level design of any game. What an absolute pile of dogshit.
