Of the three "dark-mode colorful minimalist art direction games about defeating large hordes of basic-shaped enemies" games that all look exactly the same that I have played, this is the first one that I flat-out do not like.

SNKRX rules. Play it.

Flerp is alright.

As for this game in particular, like Flerp it plays like a tower-defense game without paths for the enemies to walk down, and instead go after the core in the middle that you have to protect by setting up units with different colors and abilities. Unlike Flerp however, the very beginning part of the game isn't so forgiving with where you can place your first offensive tower, because if enemies decide to spawn on the opposite side of your core you'll just...game over.

There's something inherently funny to me about early-game game-overs in most games, because they usually teach a player very swiftly about how to play a game, or give an immediate perspective of what the game itself contains.

Torecower contains bullshit.

I can't imagine you would end up playing this in the first place, but if you're like me and saw the art direction and bought it for that alone, I'll save you the trouble. Don't.
