We've achieved peak indie shovelware. Runs like a potato and not even a decent blueprint of what a 'Splatoon racer' might look like. (Except as an example of how it definitely should not be done!) The idea of a racing game in which the boost button is 1-to-1 swapped with a button which by all counts makes it LOOK like you're boosting but isn't actually making you go any faster- while the actual method for going faster doesn't involve pressing a button, and increases your speed only to a marginal degree at best- is inherently unintuitive, broken, and just plain boring.
