Voez

released on May 26, 2016

Voez is played by touching falling notes in time with the music. Set in a fictional town named Lan Kong Town, which is modelled after Yilan in Taiwan, the story is centred around six high school students who form a band that eventually achieves international fame. Gameplay is simple, requiring players to touch vertically falling notes that have hit a bar on the bottom of the screen. Depending on the song, the number of lanes for the notes increases and they shift side to side, making the screen look as if it is dancing to the music. There are over 100 songs in the library. Three difficulty levels Easy, Hard and Special are available. Players are able to choose difficulty levels according to their skill so they may enjoy all pieces.

One of the only rhythm games I ever cared about
The songs are genuinely fun and the art is gorgeous

Neat rhythm game with a decently varied selection of songs. Using the Switch touchscreen is very 2017/2018 but I still liked it.

game is really fun to play
"story" and characters are definitely pretty generic, not as much of a focus as other rayark titles
music selection is all over the place, upside is there will definitely be songs you enjoy but also a lot of ones you just don't ever want to play more than once

tem poucas musicas legais a maioria é chatinha
o sistema é legal no inicio mas fica meio chato depois. visualmente é maneiro mas na hora de jogar ehhhhh...
a historia é um dos negocios mais fodase... nao consegui nem entender

For the most part, nothing too special gameplaywise, but it just..feels nice to engage with. It's also a rhythm game that actually does interesting things with its mechanics which, while it should be the norm in terms of this genre, is literally exceptional.

Buying this game on Switch was a life changer
