3★ - I like the game.
This game was fun, but really short. Considering I was able to get 100% within a couple of days.
I hope this game continues to get more content and weapon variety.

who the hell keeps making these vampire survivor knockoffs dude, stop!!! actually don't because i'm really enjoying this little micro-genre/artistic trend/whatever. there's something pretty nice about games that only require WASD to play, i can just kick back, crack a coffee, put on some music (current fav: the new caroline polachek track 'sunset'), just chill.
ok onto the actual game - void scrappers is another solid entry in the 'survivor-like' subgenre, which is what i've seen it called now. the fundamentals are still here; you just drift around, automatically shooting at waves of enemies while collecting currency/xp, used to purchase stat and weapon upgrades. it has a pretty classic Ships in Space theme, very similar to a lot of shmups/asteroid even, with your guy piloting a tiny ship in a big scary galaxy full of Space Cops or something. what sets void scrappers apart & also makes it a little crappy is just how Twitchy it is.... your ship has near ice-level physics and the enemies shoot little pea-sized red dots that get really hard to keep track of, and so most of my deaths are from a gust of wind grazing my W key and accidentally pushing me 0.001 microns into some dudes ship, and then you die instantly cuz this character has no shields..... alas. pretty all around solid, but i really need to stop playing these lol
