Yoshi for the Game Boy is a simple yet deceptively challenging puzzle game. Players control Yoshi as he drops falling enemy blocks into stacks. The goal is to form matching pairs, sandwiching the hapless foes between Yoshi eggshells. While its core concept is easy to grasp, Yoshi quickly ramps up the difficulty with varied block types and increasingly chaotic drops. It's a charming, pick-up-and-play experience, albeit one that might frustrate players expecting more traditional Mario-style platforming.

not gonna lie. it's just lame; probably nothing more than a product of its time...

I actually could feel a little sense of nostalgia with this one since I played it during my childhood...but, no. It's a very boring puzzle game featuring everyone's favourite dinosaur.

it's a functional matching puzzle game. I appreciate the black and white era because it's easier on my colorblind eyes, but this game really isn't that compelling at all.
