Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament brings the action of the animated series' Dark Tournament Saga to the interactive realm through a fast-paced fighting game. The game features several different ways to play, including a story mode based on exciting moments in the Dark Tournament Saga. In arcade and survival mode, you can fight your way through a series of increasingly difficult AI-controlled opponents. A card game mode lets you use cards earned in battle to face off in an all-new strategy game.

As much as I love Yu Yu Hakusho (it being my fav shounen of all time) this game is lazily made. There's numerous details & map pieces that are either missing or done poorly. There's a lack of content compared to other PS2 fighters and the tokens/token mode are actually nothing LOL. To give it credit though, the moves are fun (granted, with abysmal inputs) and it's an interesting game for sure but potential was wasted,

Nice cover art. Game is ugly, controls bad is overall a disaster. Best anime ever though.
Pure kusoge. Playing this while an emulation problem muted all the voices was a truly surreal experience.
