bump combat needs to make a comeback already

It's a good game thats kinda annoying to play cause atleast for me it was kinda hard to tell where to go, so i kinda had to watch a guide for both of em.

Great. Simple but gracefully challenging (on nightmare) combat, good windy dungeons, fast and satisfying progression with upgrades you will need to win and tons of fun NPC interactions (you can even talk to basically every single minor monster in the second game).
An actually good, compelling story that doesn't waste your time, charming pixel graphics, art that is both cute and cool, and the series staple god tier soundtrack that comes in 3 forms you can swap mid play representing different releases of the games throughout the years, with more versions able to be modded in. Even within the series this duology remains unique in its masterful execution of its fairytale like story.

im not playing bump combat lol

Good remakes of two classic JRPGs that have a banger soundtrack, great visuals, and nice quality-of-life improvements, but still require a guide to enjoy & mixed performance.

bump combat chads how can we stop winning

Everytime I see a DVD Screensaver now I suffer from PTSD flashbacks.

Solid remakes, though both of the games are a bit rough in places.

Great remakes, great music. Can't expect less from the best RPG developers from Japan.

(just a review for Ys 1) Not a fan of the bump style combat, since a lot of enemies ended up feeling too similar. Pretty barebones story as well.
