A great version of Tetris. I love the whole atmosphere created with this game. The co-op multiplayer is extremely entertaining even though I am trash at it. Hope to beat the story mode, but that lvl 9 and up speed wrecks me.

This isn't just Tetris, this is Tetsuya Mizugishi's Tetris, and if you know, you know. Fans of his previous work have undoubtedly already played this and loved it; if you didn't love his previous work, this won't change your mind; but if you loved this game, and have never played another of Tetsuya Mizugishi's games, then, please, add them to your backlog.

Tetris muy bonito y musica de 10

Good version of tetris, lags on switch what the hell

its tetris if it was beautiful

I zoned out hard when playing this

Único defeito é que é muito curto, gostei tanto que gostaria de mais fases no modo campanha.

I used to think there wasn’t such a thing as ‘the best Tetris’. There are bad Tetris games, of course, but in my eyes all the good ones were equally good, just offering different things for different people. I was wrong. This is the best Tetris.

- Tetris ultra chill -

It's my favourite version of Tetris. It's incredibly hypnotizing, the music's great, and i'd only hold on recommending it to photosensitive people cuz the amount of flashing lights going on is absurd.

Also it's super hard? Like immensely hard, even on Normal difficulty? This is not a complaint though, i love that, but yeah, fair warning for that too. It's difficult, pretty looking, and (very) addicting.

It's Tetris. Tetris is a perfect game.

The developers of this game added some audio and visual bells and whistles to Tetris Effect to make it an interesting experience. While the EDM isn't exactly my thing, the musical effects are quite cool and add an interesting element to the gameplay. The visuals, while very good, can get in the way and distract from the game at hand. It's like they polished a fine marble statue until the glint off of it distracted from the artwork itself.

At the end of the day, it's a stylized version of a perfect game. I can't detract too much from it.

There are two feelings when you play Tetris Effect. One is the laser focused mastery of the genuinely difficult, satisfying Tetris challenge. The other is going from vibing with the aestethic to absolutely ascending to it. It's when both of these feelings connect with one another that this truly becomes an "Experience".

As a tetrio and jstris player, i find the lack of handling customization a big letdown, as well as not being able to choose the theme of your pieces when playing online.
Journey mode is really beautiful and i loved it, but for me the main appeal of tetris is the online aspect and this is simply not it.

cool ig. i find the visuals and music disorientating and it stresses me out. definitely didn't feel like i was being enlightened. i definitely see why people love this so much but i just find it so overstimulating. what makes tetris already so beautiful to me is how simple it is.

not morally egregious per se but Tetris devotees should agree to never speak prejudicially about mobile games or musou ever again lest they face legally enforced financial restitution. fuck the review man let's talk mods in the comments

Hey - it's still Tetris, but groovy

Playing this in VR will make you transcend

it's tetris so already great and its also pretty calming

Lindo e perfeito, melhor Tetris já feito

amazing addition to the most classic puzzle games ever made. It's immersive like never before and the continued support with weekly events is good to see. I WILL 100% this game even if it's the last thing I do!

a really great version of tetris that surprised me in its ability to actually make me a little bit emotional. while a visual and aural spectacle, this is NOT a version of tetris to play if you actually want a mechanically deep experience. very simple and lax rules and a low speed-cap. i haven't played connected and i have heard that it fixes many of those issues and adds more depth, so maybe it's better know. find out and tell me!
