LIKED:
8 bit "old school" look, took me back to days of playing Secret of Mana or Chrono Trigger
Music wasn't bad either, again that old school vibe
Kind of funny?
I can have…6 or maybe 9 people fight?
Possibly interesting ideas with combat and buffing your characters but…eh
NO LIKED:
Dialogue
- waaaay too much exposition
- Creepy characters? (starting place Chief harping about the inscest, Butler objectifying the females)
- Very paper thin "need to take back what's ours! And avenge our family!" storyline
Actually playing it
- Some interesting ideas but still same old random encounter stuff, Bonds and such but I couldn't really care to be honest
- Was weird that the fighting system you couldn't pick individual characters to do their attack, you attack in groups?
- Priestess just stands in the corner and just cheers (ok yes her bro is suppose to be her protector but come ON)
- WTF there's an AUTO battle mode? What's the point of this then a walking/dialogue simulator?
