almost parodically roundabout questing, again putting you through the same old areas of vanilla/zilart. only completed mission 8 and will only get back to ffxi in some months since the return campaign is finishing now, but the fact the writing is actually mostly funny now instead of the whateverness of crystalline prophecy makes it more tolerable in a sense, though it's still flavorless as an overall experience. it's like all qualms i had with the game design of vanilla/zilart are still coming back with less of the good qualities or novelty/freshness, just like with ACP
