I have so so so many thoughts on this game. First off I'd like to mention that the gameplay in this is so much better than Judgment's, and Snake style is dope. But story-wise this game really fails mostly. The whole reasoning behind the motivations for the murders is just so stupid and even though it's shorter than Judgment it feels too long. The story often feels like a retread of the first one in format but just not as interesting or dark as the first. The first's main problem was it had atrocious pacing and sometimes underdeveloped characters but it had an otherwise good plot. Whereas in Lost Judgment it's the reverse, the pacing for the most part (screw the beginning section with the high school) was good, and the characters in this one are a lot more developed. However, the actual plot is honestly average at its best moments and bad at its worst. Overall this game manages to make a more compelling cast of characters and vastly improve the combat. Simultaneously though, they made a worse plot, worse reasoning for the murders, and it lost its gritty feeling that Judgment had. Overall a huge disappointment and it's honestly worse than Judgment imo. Though if you value combat a lot, this one is definitely better from that stance.
