Considering it's objectively more generous than Genshin's and you get way more characters for free that are completely viable to get you through the rest of the story including endgame, how is it worse?

I was talking about the Artifact/Relic system @HaloBlues

Genshin's is bad, Star Rail's is worse.
Have to farm 6 relics per character instead of 5
You don't get the benefit of any off/flex pieces
and 2 of he 6 are locked behind doing Simulated Universe over and over again

It's just a much worse experience for the player
