I adore this series. When I was 12 I picked up the first game on PS2 for my birthday and played almost nothing else for years.
Then BloodRayne 2 was announced and came out in the US in October 2004, but in the UK I had to wait until February 2006. But for some reason my PS2 wouldn't play any copy, so I had to wait until my birthday in November to buy an Xbox with the game, and I honestly just didn't stop. I still stick the original version on on my Xbox Series X because slashing things up in this game is just so bloody fun.
This game just has everything I love. Vampires, a strong female protagonist, gore, a gothic mansion, creatively designed characters and of course, Laura Bailey.
Ziggurat have done a great job with this remaster and I am praying for a console release and that the cliffhanger this game ended on 17 years ago will finally result in a sequel.
