The best 'classic' Kirby out there which layed in the foundations of a game where the Extras are required to make a 100% completion. Although Sakurai was involved only in the original, the remake is done under a different director that then would go direct the rest of the series starting from this entry on, giving us more mystic and sometimes a bit darker story elements that would contribute to modernize the Kirby series.

The remake borrows heavily from the original and spices it up to feature a more tight and tough experience for those who want more, complete with really unique and charming boss fights and a soundtrack that blows up the surface. I haven't played the original, but the game presents a dynamic physics which, when getting the hang out of it, can turn out to be exciting.

I ultimately had to abandon after i got into the last game (The True Arena) because i wasn't feeling up for the last challenge anymore, but despite that i truly recommend to get into this game as a newbie Kirby fan due to the main gameplay and section elements that were introduced from the original and the remake.
