Yes, it sounds silly, but i'm actually writing a review of a game engine that has been known to put a craze among fighting game fans.

The first time i've ever watched a MUGEN video was back when i was a prodigy child who loved Super Mario a lot that i've spent my childhood playing and watching flash content made by fans back in the very fresh Newgrounds days.
On Youtube tough, said video was a typical Super Mario vs Wario match, a classic one since Super Mario Land 2. It had a really serious tone that i used to not be able to recognize certain stuff that today became too familiar as the Street Fighter and King of Fighters series are VERY common to see among the Mugen community. In the same video, the stage came most likely from King of Fighters while the lifebar was a mix between Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Capcom vs SNK 2.

And to this day, after that first time, Mugen is a really full fledged engine that allows you to make fighting games in such easier manner without all the fuss about hitboxes, etc., with a text-based dedicated state programming system. You can customize everything, from characters, lifebars (the two being the MOST unique you can work on), stage select screens... but what you can't really customize to its extent is, well, the title screen. It is not something like Godot Engine which you can basically manipulate elements with ease, BUT at least you can actually make incredible battles with ANY character you love...

It is after all a indispensable game engine that has the most exotic use ever. NO LIMITS... its userbase is immortal despite the absence of Elecbyte from now on, and since then the birth of Ikemen, a remake of the engine, the engine has went on a new leaf under the name Ikemen Go, which is a reprogram in GO language of a engine reprogram with new features that aim for fullgame crazyness. But... like every fighting game, you still have to master the arts of inputs and when you get to make your own game you will be the one who gets to make your own moveset.

You will feel like a god who is having fun with planet Earth.
