I had a longer review written but I accidentally pressed back and it died. So I'll be succint. Or try.

The gameplay is less-than-mediocre Musou and mediocre Ace Combat. The Musou stages would be better if they were more mindless but red enemies and tanky enemies suck ass. Also Caim feels like shit, gets staggered easily and most weapons are straight up worthless.

The story made very little sense to me, fucked up shit just kinda happens. The structure is also very disjointed. And yet that's the game's biggest strength, because it just feels like playing through a nightmare. The music adds to the overall aesthetics, though for me it was just kinda there save a few tracks. Still, I respect it a lot on this front.

The last ending, which is a joke ending, is the best part of the game, specially in gameplay, and accounts for .5 of my score by itself. Getting all weapons was also nowhere near as arduous as people make it out to be, as long as you get them as you go through the game.

So yeah a shitty game carried by its unique and bizarre story and aesthetics. Glad I played this weird little shit, but I don't think it's anything quite as mind-blowing or amazing as some people make it out to be at all.
