DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!
The issues are numerous, the gameplay is sucky. Level design is slow and boring, mission design slows the game to a crawl. You have to replay the first level 10 times to beat the game. For most of the game, Shadow is out of character. The definitive experience of this game is watching the "canon timeline" cutscene compilation on Youtube. The story is decent in that compilation, but because most of the game isn't canon, the story sucks. I also still don't like how at the start of the game he's out of character but it's not awful how he redeems himself in the end I guess (in the canon timeline). He's out of character in this game because he's selfish, something Shadow is not, in SA2, he did bad things for a selfless reason. In this game, in one ending he wants to conquer the universe for power. For the majority of the game he's out of character. Even the music in this game is mid besides the vocal tracks. The ending was pretty fantastic though so it has that.
