i dont like to use backloggd as a social media and i only like using it as a logging website but im throwing this out there anyways: i think its genuinely comical that in most uchikoshi works the best part isn't even uchikoshi's writing; it's nakazawa's. Remember11 is the best "uchikoshi" work because he didn't even work on it until late into development, and you can absolutely tell which parts he had involvement. in this case ryuki's route was mainly written by nakazawa and it shows when it is also leaps and bounds ahead of mizuki's route. if i have to see one more person credit remember11's quality to uchikoshi my eyes might bleed out

@NewVegasNick Ryuki's PoV, mainly: I think his tenuous grasp on reality makes it a much more engrossing read to theorize about because his role as the detective ends up feeling like you have to take it with some asterisks included. Tokiko's whole deal works better when the question is "is Ryuki losing it or is this actually happening", compared to Mizuki's making it feel like Uchi is just lying back on Remember11, and the twist works better with Ryuki than it does with Mizuki's, especially since I think Mizuki's alternate routes are egregiously boring and has Uchi's bad habit of needing to make every character straight to an awful degree, as well as the way Mizuki's role works in the twist needs some serious suspension of disbelief compared to Ryuki's making some more sense because of his already established tenuous grasp on reality. I also dislike a lot of Uchi-isms and the way Mizuki's route outright ignores a lot of 1's development for her, and the climax gets too long and dull by the end of it. I don't think Ryuki's route is amazing but it's, like, a 7? It kinda drags by the start and its mostly by the latter half that it starts making it more interesting.
