I swear I'm not going crazy but this feels like a better developed, and re-skinned, Shinkon Gattai Godannar. It mixes mech-esque mechanics with those of a fighting game on a hyperplane arena.
Some Gundams feel grossly overpowered or underpowered, but thats how it is with these old games.
