It's not cool anymore to hate on this game, and it bugs me that people still do. Yes, its launch was absolutely diabolical and there is no defense for it.

However, the game has been patched and it is finally the top-tier game we all wanted. I didn't play this until it launched on PS5, over a year after launch, so I don't actually know HOW much they improved it. I went in with fresh eyes to a more polished game, and I'm very very glad I did.

Phenomenal story, gameplay, voice acting, characterisation, choices, dialogue, visuals etc. I was absolutely lost in this world and I feel a little stranded now that I've seen the end credits. I know I like a game when I take time to split my attention between the main mission and side offerings, and that's exactly what I did here.

I would dip in an out of main quests, side jobs, gigs etc. The gigs can be a bit repetitive so I made sure to do a few before diving back into a more story-centred mission, which suited me fine.

Don't sit on Cyberpunk just because of its poor history. Celebrate it for what it is now! (Assuming you're on PC or new gen console.. no idea how it plays on PS4/XB1 but I imagine not great?)
