Holy fuck I am so shocked at how much fun this was. As liner and simple as the modes are playing a 2D anime fighter with mechanics you would see in shit like GG and BB rocks. The movement and moment to moment gameplay feels very fluid and tight. About the worst I can say is damage getting left up to the card system for some character kinda blows and the DS D-pad makes me wish this was a console game, but the spritework is absolutely stellar.
