the story and characters and dialogue and all that is so fucking bad but it’s been ass since like X&Y. i miss the days where the dialogue was just shit like “YOU ARE A TOUGH TRAINER. GO TO GOLDENROD CITY”

but the gameplay is such a refreshing change of pace that i hardly cared. this is exactly the pokémon game i’ve been waiting to play since like the gamecube days. it should be the standard going forward.
