While it does reiterate the previous mechanics of Psychonauts it doubles down on the number of power ups and also on the crazyness of its mindscapes (the places inside of the minds that you explore) and the story will keep you entertained until the credis will roll. The only real fault is that it can feel overwhelming at times with the amount of stuff that there is in the game, but it's still very good and highly recommended.
