Considering that this came out 2 whole years after Half Life 2, Prey doesn't try to raise the bar at all and will try to pull the same trick over and over until you just kind of don't care anymore. There's a lot of neat ideas here that get overplayed to death, the level gimmicks become the foundation of the gameplay
