becomes better if you have friends to play with. without friends it really is a waste of time

Didn't make it clear since I was just doing quick write-ups. I usually only played with friends. Either duos or more for normals. Unless the whole group has a good mindset, most wins don't feel great, and losses in a 5-stack have a blame game in there somewhere. If I want to play something competitive, I'll stick to fighting games mostly.
