Played using a 1080p 60fps patch with Dolphin. If I played this on actual hardware I would have probably given it a hazy rating because some of these missions are bullshit. Save states are a must for this game. I didn’t bother going for the 100% because that requires collecting all the blue coins in the game. Blue coins are mission specific, not level specific, so I’m not going to waste my time doing that. I finished with 83 Shine Sprites. Sound design for this game is annoying; Mario’s voice clips are grating and the death sound is way too out of place for this game. Soundtrack was okay. Will probably never play again, but I had a fun time. If they made a sequel and expanded on this game it would probably be fantastic.
