Inindo - Koei's open-world 'Rekoeition' JRPG, managed to carve a niche in a creatively narrow scene, thanks mainly to their battle (sideview fights that marry tactical movement with row-based formations) & teambuilding systems (boasting a large cast of roaming warriors, mostly found in town inns and recruited via player levels and disposition). But the rest is disappointing at best and tiresome at worst, whether the generic-looking setting, the premise (despite its intriguing distortion of history), the simple strategy minigames, or the oversized dungeons and world map.
