I should not have enjoyed this game, the genre’s and themes don’t appeal to me, the gameplay is frustrating and the main character, for lack of better words, is a twat.

You start off the game pretty intrigued by everything, never before have I seen such an interesting mix of genre’s, and they fit extremely well here. The half-sim, half-puzzle gameplay loop is incredibly addictive and you’ll find yourself blasting through the game because each half of the game is as interesting as the other. You’ll want to fly through the puzzles to see what the next day has in store, and you’ll want to fly through the day to see the next challenge you have to deal with. I was pleasantly surprised by Catherine: Full Body and it fully deserves all its praise, the game offers up plenty of twists and turns, and in the end you feel pretty satisfied with what you end up with. I ended up liking Vincent as the game went on as you grow with him on his journey.

All in all, a very enjoyable experience that I can only not give 5 stars to because I felt like the additional character they added didn’t really serve much purpose and the game would’ve been better off without them. Maybe I should’ve played Catherine Classic.
