Gameplay is fun and makes you think
Story is extensive with lots of worldbuilding
Characters are usually likeable despite most of them appearing once and never again
The difficulty spike is vertical
Mod support, not only extends the length of your playtime but allows you to cheat if you just wanna get through the game for the story

Only issue with the game is that it has some performance problems, ultrakill runs better than this game on the lowest graphics setting
