This review is gonna be super short because this game is so obviously shovelware it hurts.

Recommended by Chap, Pucca Power Up is the fifteenth game on the obscure games recommendation list. Thank you for the recommendation.

This game is nothing more than a relatively barebones 2D Platformer based on the property of Pucca. Pucca is a South Korean animated series that started with flash animations in the early 2000s and has grown to rapid popularity worldwide, so it makes sense that games about her would be made.

This one though, doesn't have much going for it. You have your standard platforming, turning on switches to open doors, mediocre combat against cats and ninjas. It doesn't really have any standout elements that make it a must play as far as platformers are concerned.

The only reason the score is so low is because at points the game will force you to use the DS' touch screen for minigames that are required for progression.

In what I would consider the "worst game of Frogger i've ever played" I got stuck on one of these which required me to use the touch screen to move Pucca forward. I'm sure even on original hardware (if it wasn't obvious enough that I emulated this thing,) this shit would still be finnicky and feel wrong.

The problem with these mini game sections is that they actually take your lives when you don't succeed, which for a game as boring as this one, was the last straw.

I do apologize, but don't waste your time playing Pucca Power Up. There are numerous other platformers leagues better than this.

you can't get mad at the game for making you use the touch screen while you're emulating it, its a DS game so it's going to act like one
