My main arcade game while I was living in Japan, and let me tell you: Chunithm is a masterpiece. The gameplay is incredibly easy to pick up: just touch the pad where the notes show up. Hold them if you have to hold them, slide with them if you need to, and lift your hands when it tells you to. Very simple mechanics that quickly expand into some insanely interesting charts, and when you add in the slide notes from master and dodge notes for world's end, you end up with a game that you could play for dozens or hundreds of hours and never get bored.

Star Plus is not the newest version, nor is it the best version, but It's the version I spent the most time on (and cleared the most "dan" courses on) and is one I'd be happy to play again. It's not the most modern, but it's still a solid entry with a really fun song list.
