Talking about yakuza is quite a mouthful, so ii'll just talk absolute basics.

The writing is phenomenal, whether it's the back arching action of the story, the elaborate silly substories or even one-off interactions. Anything presented to you meets a certain high bar of quality & entertainment.

Gameplay is rich as well, prolonged skill trees that are so long you can finish the story while still halfway up. Variety of styles for both protagonists ensure longevity, but a gripe I have is how a sizeable number of bosses are very cheesable, this might be the biggest con regarding combat.

Presentation overall is very great, cutscenes will make you mutter "holy shit' a lot, not to mention a badass soundtrack that gets better the longer you play.

Yakuza 0 is a whole experience, a very game-y game that a brief review can't give it justice, it's strongly recommended to have a taste of this.
