Im biased I love this game, beaten it to NG+40 and done speedruns on it, combat is fast paced with lots of secret techniques allowing you to slide, jump, duck and dash attack enemies
Very short and not annoyingly hard, story is in your face but if you don't pay attention then has as much story as dark souls but if you do there's a lot of lore in surge
