I kind of hate that I generally enjoy this game.
I needed a game to play during downtime at work. I settled on this one as a big Pokemon fan. I play it a lot now.
One of my biggest gripes with Pokemon is that they have so many AMAZING character designs, and quite a few really well written characters, but they're all one and done. Once "their game" is finished they fall into the annals of Poke-history, never to be heard from again.
This game brings them back and I am so immensely appreciative of that.
If this game played like a normal Pokemon game, wasn't a mobile game, but had the same concept, it would be a perfect Pokemon game. I mean heck, the story itself is surprisingly good.
So I'm in this weird area of "this game is fun, and I like playing it" but also "I hate that they took this potential and made it a mobile gacha game instead of a real Pokemon game"
