I did actually enjoy the remake, it allowed me to play my favorite game on my PS4, after having sold my PS2.

The remake is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is still there, but I think it misses something. Everything is too beautiful, if you know what I mean. Something about the soul of the game and the ambience is lost in this remake, the graphical limitations of the PS2 made it not beautiful, but mysterious and intriguing.

But, again, my favorite game of all time.
