I did not expect to take to this game as well as I did. FH5 manages to capture the ephemeral joys of driving a car better than a lot of games, which makes it endlessly attractive. I'm not surprised to see a number of my XBL friends with extensive amounts of time spent in the game. As for the world, I kind of headcanon it as taking place in a Holodeck-type environment where there's no negative vibes and no ecological damage. Because if it took place in the real world... yikes.
