Despite being more than 15 years old as of this writing, Republic Commando holds up as a fun, accessible tactical shooter. Awkward iron-sights aiming aside, the FPS element controls as slickly as games 10 years its junior, with visual goodies that add depth to the classic Star Wars aesthetic. The game is Cool, if a bit short in the end; it's a shame we never got a sequel - spiritual or otherwise - to it.
