It's funny that for how much I adore Larian's Baldur's Gate 3, I just could not pick up what D:OS 2 was putting down. There was this moment in the tutorial where it wants you to knock over a barrel, to in turn incapacitate an enemy. The whole interaction bugged out and I dropped it there, solidly disinterested. Not likely to return to it either, given, again, the quality of BG3.

Funny enough what I really missed in BG3 was the level of elemental combination DOS1 or 2 had. There's something so satisfying in turning the whole battlefield into an inferno or stunning everyone with electricity after calling down rain. 5e is fine system but I really hope they take the budget and writing talent back to their own setting.

By barrel you mean the oil barrel that it gives you the fireball scroll to use on, r-right....

Quite possibly, Basil, it's been a while lol. All I remember is the intended outcome did not fire correctly and so I peaced out.

Raptor, I did enjoy the elemental combinations in DOS1 and liked the little of it (rain + lightning equals dead guys!) that carried over to BG3.
